My spouse gave me a gift of a discovery flight at F&G Aviation flight school in Portage la Prairie.On a Saturday afternoon, we met with the instructor, Rmi, a few minutes before the scheduled time. He was actually there before we were, which I appreciate as being serious when you're a professional.While being very friendly, Rmi did not neglect any aspect of our security and safety. He checked every aspect of the flight, involving us in the process, which I have to say made me very comfortable, confident, and trusting him. From insurance, to weight, to pre-flight check and even the quality of the fuel, we were involved in all the steps. It really shows the professionalism of the instructor and the seriousness of the school and owners.The flight was pure sensations. Rmi was carefully monitoring the flight and offered me to take the commands as often as possible. He was very calm and patient (compensating for my anxiety and excitement, lol).Greg and Fabienne, the owners, are passionate about their business but also about meeting people.Did I mention they are all fully bilingual?! That also made a huge difference for me and added up to my wonderful experience.Thanks to all of this, I won't forget my first flight in the pilot seat!Hopefully the first of many, and who knows, I'm now thinking that I could go for the license!To be continued...

Greg is a calm and knowledgeable instructor and the service is great. The plane is always ready to roll when I show up and attention to detail is high. Can't recommend highly enough!
