We were very pleased with the campground. The washrooms were very clean. The park registration office staff was very pleasant. We only stayed the one night but will definitely be back if we get the chance.Bob & Sharon
We spend a week here every summer with our extended family and it's a great place for young families. It's very private and nicely treed, so it's fairly sheltered from the wind. Very clean washrooms, nice pool, new parts of the playground. Wifi is free, one device per site. A fee for more devices. The only thing about the campground is the cell service is poor and it is noisy being right off the Trans-Canada Hwy.
Take the East entrance! Lovely sites with full service. Lots of trees. Mix of seasonal and transient RV'ers.
We needed a place to sleep the owner was good enough to put us in a spot they never use. I would highly recommend booking before you arrive. Very packed campground. Has a shallow pool but always packed with kids splashing and screaming. Not adult friendly.
This is a paradise away from home. I always enjoy being at this place, especially because they have pretty much everything you need!If we ever run out of groceries or if we forgot something, we would drive to Portage and grab stuff - thats about 15-20 minutes away (maybe less!). Sites are spaced out pretty nicely, theres a lot of trees! Very nice in the summer because it does not get too hot. If you do... jump in the pool! There is a pool and a playground at the heart of the campsite. There is also a volleyball court (more like beach volleyball) at the front of the property.
